Kaya is a Hong Kong-based illustrator who graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts at Hong Kong Baptist University. Her artistic practice focuses on expressive brushstrokes and layered textures that reflect her observations of daily life. She has held solo exhibitions including “Leaving or Staying” in Hong Kong and “Mountain Components” at Tenjinyama Art Studio in Japan. Kaya has also created illustrations for publications such as Elegant Simplicity: The Art of Living Well, Ask Granny, and Just Keep Going. As the founder of roomm1533, she balances commercial commissions and cross-disciplinary art collaborations with occasional appearances at art markets.
