Jamie Yue is the artist behind Atelier Jam, a Singapore-born illustrator whose practice moves between Hong Kong and Tokyo. Trained as an architect and interior designer, she spent over a decade shaping physical spaces—developing a sensitivity to light, proportion, and the quiet dialogue between objects and their surroundings.
That same sensitivity now finds its way into her illustrations. Her work lingers on everyday scenes: a coffee cup left alone on a café table, a quiet corner of a room, the subtle stillness of a train station just after departure. These moments, often overlooked, become her subject.
Working primarily in International Klein Blue with burgundy accents, Jamie’s drawings are defined by restrained linework and a deliberate use of negative space. Her compositions reflect an architectural clarity, where what is left unsaid—or un-drawn—holds as much weight as what is present. Through this balance, she invites viewers into a slower, more contemplative way of seeing, where ordinary objects and interiors reveal a quiet, enduring beauty.
