For years, I have been exploring Hong Kong's nature and its diverse species. Amphibians are among the most accessible creatures I encounter; this series, in fact, was created following the publication of our first book, Wild Neighbours: Hong Kong Amphibians. 'Waterfall Side' highlights the Hong Kong Cascade Frog, a stunning species with large adhesive discs on its digits, perfectly adapted to life near rushing water. Accompanying it are the Big-headed Turtle and the Striped Loach. About the Artist: With love and passion, &dear started to work on various projects related to the conservation of nature and animals, as well as working hand-in-hand with other organizations. &dear mainly works with illustration, murals, and upcycle installations. Through these creations, &dear hopes to raise public awareness regarding nature and wildlife in order to spread love and respect for our environment.
