Horton Plains National Park is in the central highlands of Sri Lanka. It was raining most of the time when we were there, but the weather couldn't keep us indoors. We were rewarded with sightings of many highland endemics, including a leopard with its prey, a Sambar deer. This area is also home to the highest altitude railway station in the country.
